Do I need to fill in prescriptions?
If you're buying spectacles with lens option other than "Frame Only" , you would need to fill in the prescriptions. We would need your valid eyeglasses prescription and your pupillary distance (PD) to make your glasses. So we recommend you to give us the information of your current glasses. Should you find difficulties to remember your prescriptions, give your doctor/optical shop a call and they will provide you all the information. PD plays a vital role in making a pair of comfortable glasses. Your PD is the distance in millimeters between your pupils, and helps us center your prescription correctly in your frames. In the event that your doctor did not include your PD in your prescription, you can measure it using this way. Follow the steps in this page. We highly recommend you to gather all the information before making orders.
Once you have the information, you can fill it at product variations or you can submit a photo of your prescriptions to desopticsinfo@gmail.com, and provide the order number.
How can I get my prescriptions?
We recommend you to make an appointment with your local optometrist, or find an available doctor for an eye checkup, or call up the optical shop where you made you current glasses, they should have your prescription. Remember to include your pupillary distance (PD) on your prescription.
